He chose to continue his education at South Baylo University to pursue his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to deepen his knowledge in patient evaluation, diagnosis and become an even better practitioner.
Mr. Phan received extensive clinical training in Vietnam for many years. He then continued his education in the United States.
His diverse clinical experiences in acupuncture included volunteering at local churches and temples in Vietnam and then later in the United States.

Kenny loves working with people and his main focus during treatment is that his patients feel relaxed and cared for. Kenny’s passion has always been to assist and naturally heal people using acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by finding the root cause of the problems rather than treating just the symptoms. Each of his treatment usually lasts for more than an hour because he believes in quality more than quantity.

You can be rest assured that you have picked the right acupuncturist because I’ve gone through the trouble sifting through them all for you.
The most influential book in Chinese Medicine called the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon. This book presents views on the functions of the human body and the physical world that remain the basic ideas believed by traditional medicine practitioners.
The dominant function of acupuncture is to regulate the circulation of Qi and Blood, restore body’s balance back to its original. It also strives to improve the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites - commonly referred to as acupuncture points.
Chinese Medicine believes that illness or diseases first enter the body through the skin, then penetrate inward through muscles, internal organs and if not treated within time, to the marrow of the bone. To simplify things furthermore, our blood is flowing in a circular motion from the top to the bottom and from the bottom back to the top. For example, we feel pain when there is a blockage in our blood system. To resolve this problem, the acupuncturist would stimulate the acupuncture points with various methods. The most common method is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin that near the pain location or the furthest away from the pain location to treat the condition and try to restore back the smooth flow of Qi and Blood.
Pressure, heat, or electrical stimulation may further enhance the effects. Other acupuncture point stimulation techniques also might be used include: moxibustion or heat therapy, cupping, and the application of herbal medicines.
In essence, acupuncture involves re-edifying a disturbance in the flow of Qi and Blood. When the Qi and Blood circulate correctly, the body can eliminate attempt to heal itself.

value and price.
Currently our cash prices are $75 a visit. Our acupuncturist will generally spend upwards of an hour per visit. Much longer than the average practitioner. Our acupuncturist is specially trained to provide a more comprehensive and thorough examination and treatment.
Due to the nature of the type of care we provide on the first visit, it generally takes longer and includes more work. As such, the first visit with our acupuncturist is slightly more. Please call for current pricing.
For those that know they will want and/or need multiple visits Kenny also offers discounts on packages or 10 or more visits.
